After a successful inaugural campaign, Britton Transport is bringing back the 4 Disciplines of Execution campaign for a second time with a new Superheros theme and new goals.
4DX allows employees and Drivers at Britton to come together and agree on the most important improvement goals, and then work together to achieve those goals. 4DX exists to allow businesses to execute on a plan in the midst of the whirlwind of distractions and focuses everyone’s energy on the most important priorities.
Building on last year’s campaign, which focused on increasing Driver miles, this year’s campaign has a “Wildly Important Goal” (WIG) of increasing the seated count from 85 to 100 by December 31, 2016. This WIG will be achieved through three “Battle WIGs:
- Reduce driver turnover: we want to be the best company to drive for!
- Improve Driver onboarding: more Drivers will allow us to continue to grow our business and offer more to our Drivers
- Growing Britton’s network: 160,000 new customer miles
4DX will help Britton grow our business, which in turn helps us to offer more to our Drivers. 4DX will help us to create quality jobs for our current and prospective drivers. By adding more trucks to the road, we’ll be able to serve more customers, as well as expand our service offering to our existing customers. Growth will allow us to offer more quality lane variety for our Drivers.
Ultimately, we want to be the company Drivers want to work for. We are striving to build and evolve our culture and to be the best in class on lanes and customer service; both internally and externally. Britton has a well-recognized culture of safety and extensive Driver training program – by growing our fleet, we’ll continue to help keep the roads safe with Britton Drivers!
While it’s difficult in such a busy industry to break away from the day-to-day to focus on our WIG, as we start to see results from 4DX the enthusiasm increases! Though we’ve set an ambitious goal, we’re confident we’ll be able to achieve superhero status this year!
